“This isn’t the life I pictured…”
If you’ve ever whispered those words to yourself—through tears, disappointment, or silence—I just want you to know: you’re not the only one.

There are seasons that feel like Friday… when everything you hoped for looks dead and buried.
 And others that feel like Saturday—quiet, uncertain, like nothing is happening at all.
But the story doesn’t end there.
 God doesn’t leave us in the grave. He’s the God of resurrection. The One who brings beauty from ashes, and life from what feels completely lost.

If your heart is heavy, if your dreams feel buried—I just want to gently remind you:

This session from my Oklahoma Retreat gave us a little bit of everything… sunshine, clouds, wild winds, and the softest sunset. The kids ran and played, we had a dance party, a few happy tears… and honestly, it was all just perfect.

No amount of educational videos can replace the magic of simply getting out there and shooting. I had quite a few women on this trip just starting out, and seeing what they were able to capture from this sessions was amazing!

Also- make sure you shoot in RAW! Unless you wayyyy underexposed your shot, that will still capture enough info for you to bring the shadows back.
