Some weeks just feel heavier than others. No matter how much I plan, prep, or try to stay on top of things, there are still moments when it feels like too many plates are spinning and I can’t keep them all from falling.

Motherhood can be like that… full of effort, full of love - and yet it doesn’t always feel like you’re getting ahead. Sometimes the routine feels endless, like you’re trapped in a freakin hamster wheel.

But I keep coming back to this truth: these days are not wasted. The little things… the meals, the laundry, the hugs, the reminders, the patience even when it’s stretched thin - they all matter. They are shaping my kids in ways I don’t even see right now. Motherhood is Holy, beautiful, messy work. 🙌🏻🤍

Your days are so precious. The repetitiveness that you feel is actually, day by day, laying the foundation for your kids’ future and the adults they will become.

If it feel heavy right now, I just want you to know - what you’re doing matters more than you realize. 🫶🏻 Don’t stop, you’re shaping their futures every day.

I used to find a lot of my worth in being busy - always hustling, never slowing down, rarely coming up for air. But, after years of living like that- I don’t believe that’s how we were created to live.

We need time to step away, to breathe, to reconnect with our Creator and find peace for our soul. Please don’t ever feel guilty for making time for yourself. Even if it’s just three minutes outside with your bare toes in the grass and a deep breath - do it. Staying connected to the one who gives us peace will always be our best. Lifeline. 🤍

While we were on vacation… our kitten decided to have a kitten. 😂 (We didn’t realize how old she was, so fail on my part.) We have a lot of predators out here so needed to get the kitten inside before something else ate it. 🤍 My farm kids to the rescue- I’m so glad they took the porch apart for us with his power tools… And they both climbed underneath their to get the kitty. Meet Gizmo!

I used to think peace would come when my circumstances changed, when things finally slowed down or got easier. But what I’ve learned is that peace isn’t passive. It’s something you fight for.

It’s a decision you have to make every single day.
To cut out what’s not serving you.
To stop chasing things that leave you empty.
To guard your heart and your mind - because they’re sacred.

And I know… that’s easier said than done.

Some things take time. Some seasons feel heavier than others.

But you can move toward peace, one choice at a time.

Ask God to show you what’s stealing it.
Ask Him what needs to go.
He’s not holding out on you - His peace is already yours to receive.
